About Enki
Enki Subsea is a subsea services company, established with a clear objective: to deliver complex offshore projects with the same depth of capability, technical assurance, and performance reliability expected from long-established industry players
What differentiates Enki is not our name, but the people behind it.
The company has been founded by experienced professionals with long-standing careers in offshore energy and subsea operations. The leadership team and wider project delivery group have played key roles in the execution of high-value, technically demanding campaigns for major operators globally, across oil and gas Projects Marine Construction, renewables, and decommissioning.
The business model, systems, and approach have all been developed from a delivery perspective, informed by years of hands-on project execution, vessel management, offshore coordination, and client-side interface. This enables Enki to operate with the assurance and technical maturity of a far more established organisation.
Company history and ownership
Company history
Enki was formed in May 2024. The Company is based in Dubai UAE, which was a strategic decision given the central position serving projects geographically and globally.
Ownership
The Owners and founders (Matt and Marcus) worked together for a number of years, serving clients in the upstream oil and gas sectors and delivery projects such as subsea IRM, decommissioning, repair and remediation and construction support. With extensive experience and vast networks in the supply chain and from the offshore world – the decision was made to form this project solutions business.
Financial background
Since the company’s inception, financial backing has been private, with both founders investing to secure the asset pool they have today.
The business operates on a working capital basis, which means projects are designed from a cash flow positive (neutral worst case) position. Payment terms from clients are shorter than those of the supply chain partners always.
